February 7, 2009

I'm really and truly shocked that she hasn't fallen on her head yet.  Notice, I said yet...

And Taylor, boy she looks thrilled, huh?

I love rainy days.  Here are some pictures Maddie took out the truck window on the way to the grocery store.

Love how the pictures turned out with the rain on the windows.

February 6, 2009 was my co-worker's 21st birthday.  Below is a cake I made for her.  I can't find the recipe or I'd share it with you.  Sorry!

And Taylor, being a silly child that morning. :)

Cats are good for a lot of things.  They kill bugs, they keep you company...

...and they keep you warm when it's cold outside.  Yeah, Mama is a cat couch.

And Taylor... well, Taylor's just a dork.  But, then, she gets it naturally, I suppose.

What's that?  You don't understand the problem?

Here, let me look, I can help...

February 3, 2009

Taylor's ready for movie night!

I can't remember what we were watching that night, but it was in 3-D, hence the glasses.  Maddie thinks they're stylin'.  LOL

February 2, 2009

This was one of those days that I almost forgot to take a picture on.  So, you got this:

And really, do I need to say any more?

February 1, 2009

Today was a poker day, so I won't share the majority of the pictures from it, since I'm sure our friends wouldn't appreciate having their pics posted all over the web.  ROFL

This is Cali, waiting on the kids to arrive. :)

Maddie, being the little drama queen that she is.  But hey, she's laughing, right?

And this is a friend's son.  I came upstairs to check on the kids and found him lounging in the toy box.  LOL  As you can see, he doesn't care to have his picture taken.  Found the other boy child in the linen closet.  ::sigh::

Yeah, I may complain a lot, but I do love poker days, simply for the kids.

January 31, 2009

For the first half of today's picture assault, I bring you, Pets on Parade!

This is Destiny, a dwarf hamster of some sort.  I never did figure out just what kind she was.  :)  OH, that's right... she was sweet and cuddly.  We've since lost her, but she was a joy to have.

Next, we have Darby.  She's a 14-year-old kitty of unpredictable disposition. However, we've had her longer than either of our kids.  She came to live with us the first Christmas after we were married (which was like, a month later LOL).

Now for the kidlets... We try not to eat fast food much, but sometimes you just get a craving for something... bad.  :)  Here we are, hangin' at KFC.

Waiting is always the hardest part for my kids.  The going, the coming back, the actual eating... it's all usually smooth sailing.  But the waiting on the food?  That's rough...

...until they start getting goofy, that is.  :)

So, now I'm done with January (oooh... only had one day so that was HARD, huh?) and I'm only what?  Four months behind now?

Got Off Track

And I actually wound up missing quite a few days here and there (mostly here).  However, I'm going to catch this thing up and start taking pictures regularly again.

And yeah, I know... bad Mommy!

Sorry.  :(
